Privacy Policy

We only collect what we need to quote, clean and get paid. We never sell your information.

Pristine Tassie Cleaning Co. is the registered business name of Santiago Lara Ariza (ABN 59 933 594 680) in Hobart, Tasmania. Small businesses like ours are generally exempt from the Privacy Act 1988, but we choose to follow the Australian Privacy Principles anyway.

What we collect

• When you ask for a quote: your name, phone, email, the property address and details (size, condition, pets, extras), your preferred date and any notes.
• When you book with us: the details we need to do the job and invoice you, and records of your payments.
• When you visit this website: anonymous usage data, such as which pages are viewed, the type of device and the approximate area (city level).

We don't collect payment card details. Payments are made by bank transfer.

How we use it

• To reply to your quote request and arrange your clean.
• To invoice you and keep the business records the law requires.
• To understand how people use the website, so we can improve it.

We won't send you marketing emails unless you've said yes, and every one will have a way to unsubscribe.

Who we share it with

Only the services that help us run the business, and only what each one needs:

• EmailJS, which delivers the quote form to our inbox.
• Google, for our business email (Gmail) and website statistics (Google Analytics).
• Meta (Facebook and Instagram), if you contact us there.
• A mapping service (OpenStreetMap), which receives only the job address, to work out travel distance for our records.
• Software tools, including AI-assisted tools, that help us manage quotes, invoices and records.
• Our accountant and the ATO, as required by law.

Some of these providers store data outside Australia, mainly in the United States. We choose established providers with their own security and privacy commitments.

Cookies and analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, which sets small cookies (named _ga) to count visits and see which pages are useful. It doesn't tell us who you are, and Google Analytics doesn't store IP addresses. We don't use advertising cookies. If we start using advertising tools, we'll update this policy first.

You can block cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. The website works the same either way.

How long we keep it

• Quote requests that don't go ahead: deleted after 12 months, or sooner if you ask.
• Clients: invoices and payment records are kept for 5 years, as the ATO requires.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We'll reply within 30 days. The only thing we can't delete early is the tax records we're legally required to keep.

Changes

If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
